Obama’s Popularity:

Recent Polls –

To those who have voted against President Obama in some recent polls as to his handling of the Presidency and the various agendas on his plate in just this mere eight months of his Presidency – I say you are jumping the gun and you have very little foresight of what is to come.

The many long term programs and changes that our President has initiated takes time to become a reality and to all of those who voted for him to bring about change – you all are going to be getting your wishes met.

Our President may not be perfect and the answer to all our prayers, but he is truly the best man for the job so far though you may not yet see this from these past eight months. He could not be any worse than the McCain and Palin combo and I am glad that you all chose wisely.

So give our President a chance to truly get going and wait to see the many positive changes that are coming in our America before you judge him so severely. Our President and his administration have worked hard for these months to bring our economy out of the red and so far it has started to show an improvement and a positive but slow turn-around. Bear in mind that these changes are also intertwined with other corresponding factors as well, so changes can only become effective as the time line progresses.

As far as the national deficit – this was a problem that our President inherited. In order for him to bring about the good needed changes to keep up with the evolution of our planet earth – it does take financial resources. Any other candidate who might have won in the recent election would have had to do the same, which is to use government monies and taxes payers’ monies to make effective and long term changes. President Obama’s administration is no different, so wake up and stop persecuting him before he has had a chance to really make things work. The race to the finish line has yet to occur. Do not prejudge the final outcome and most definitely do not compare our President Obama to Bush and his set of players.

Ex-President Bush in his presidential era did most to benefit his set of cronies more so than the people of America. On this point alone – there is no comparison. Whereas President Obama has the foresight to look beyond by-partisan ideology and he has tried to be as impartial as possible going beyond the boundaries of race and color.

You the people of America voted for the man and in return he has kept most of his promises to you as a nation – do not fault him as he is not God, but a President who loves his country and the people of this great nation.

As a whole he is trying to do the best with what he has inherited so all those that have voted this time in the polls against him should rethink their position and be less skeptical of each and every spectrum but instead look at the broader picture of what our President is trying to achieve here for our nation and the wellbeing of it.

The Bottom Line on Health care in America:

Friday, August 7th, 2009

Those who currently oppose President Obama and his supporters on the issue of the current health reform that our President is trying to pass through Congress do not care about the general population nor do they truly care what happens in our country.

All that these individuals and groups do care about is the fact that their taxes might go up to support this health reform and the fact that their companies and organizations might make less income from such a reform. For that matter, it might also affect the many insurance companies, other health organizations and their pockets so again these detractors choose to go against this reform bill.

Meanwhile millions of average citizens suffer in silence with their various medical ailments. They have no choices to obtain more affordable health care to fix these problems which eventually lead to further illnesses and a loss of hope.

It is obvious that this health reform will increase the expenditure as all reforms do, but if we as a country do not pull our resources together to support such a cause for the good of the American people – then the situation can only get worse and it does affect all of us – from small businesses to large corporations and the senior citizens of this country.

It’s about time for these detractors to stop thinking about “me” only, instead they should come together as a nation and put aside their greed, and consider the wellbeing of America as a whole.

If these ones who preach God and his goodness as God- fearing Christians, then it is about time to show that goodness and consider the love of thy neighbor and give back a little of what you have had the good fortune to obtain from your level of existence which God has graciously graced you with. Yes, taxes might be raised for this reform but consider what good it will do for this nation and its less fortunate citizens who have helped make your companies richer by way of their hard labor and sweat!

And if you need a further eye-opener to see where this nation has gone when it comes to the deteriorating health services in this country – then you should perhaps watch the documentary made by Michael Moore called Sicko (it can be found on google search – see the synopsis of this documentary in this posting). It is indeed shameful that such a great nation as ours has a large population of greed mongers who exist just for their self serving needs and wants.

So if these ones have a conscience then it is time to step up to the plate and support our President’s reform bill for the betterment of our fellow citizens. It might be the best God- guided deed that they might have ever done in their lives.

Put aside your differences for the love of thy neighbor and support our President, as he and his supporters are trying to make this country a better place for all Americans and for the generations to come.

This is not the time to practice dissension but rather a common mind for the good of our country and the majority of population. The select few and the elect few in this nation should stop their greed but instead be true to what they preach – their love of God and his goodness.

SICKO – A documentary by Michael Moore
Health care is a universal need, but the US hasn’t found a universal solution. Filmmaker Michael Moore shows that an astonishing number of American citizens cannot afford health insurance, and that too many who have managed to get it are often denied coverage by the insurers in whose care they’ve placed their trust–and invested their money. The specific cases followed are heartbreaking and shocking and, throughout the film, you develop an understanding that this could, indeed, happen to you and your loved ones. This is one documentary that everyone should see.
